Tiger Ten Service - November 2017 posted Monday, October 30, 2017

In accordance with our previously published calendar of operations, the "Tiger Ten" shuttle service operates on November 17, 2017.  Tiger Ten does not provide service on Wednesday and  Thursday evening.   The hours of operation for all Tiger Ten lines are 10:30 PM until 3:00 AM.  The Night  Old Row and Night New Row Lines begin operation at 8:00 PM with Public Safety vans.  

Service Hours for Tiger Transit During the Thanksgiving 2017 Holiday Break posted Friday, November 10, 2017


Tiger Transit suspends Regular Service for all route operations from November 20 through November 24, 2017. 

The Stadium Deck/Haley Center shuttle service will operate from November 20 through November 22, 2017. The hours of operation are 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

The Employee Express Shuttle service will operate from November 20 through November 22, 2017; however,  this service is limited to the "Dial - a - Ride" service.  Please call 844-8600 during the hours of operation 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM with your request for service.

The Friday Evening Shopping Shuttle (Opelika TigerTown/AsianSuperMarket/WalMart/Auburn Mall) will operate on November 24, 2017. The hours of operation are 5:30 PM until 9:30 PM

The Tiger Ten service is suspended for the Thanksgiving Holiday break and resumes on December 01, 2017.

Regular Service for all route operations  resume on November 27, 2017.

Friday Evening Shopping Shuttle – November 17, 2017 posted Monday, November 13, 2017

The shopping shuttle service hours of  operation are 5:30 PM until 9:30 PM on each Friday of every month. The pick – up location on campus is the Transit Hub located  at the Student  Center on Heisman Drive. All other stops serviced by the Friday Evening Shopping  Shuttle are designated as “by request”.  These stops are serviced  in conjunction  with the normal  operation of the Friday Evening Shopping Shuttle (Opelika TigerTown/AsianSuperMarket/WalMart/Auburn Mall). Outbound passengers from the Student  Center must announce as they enter the bus, the need for service to a  designated shopping location. Service from or to any of the pick-up or drop-off locations is provided  by  either informing  the driver as you enter the bus, or calling (334) 844-4018.  This  Service is only provided by Tiger Transit buses. 

Service Change - South College & College Loop posted Monday, January 30, 2017

Modified service due to Service change

Ends: 2018-03-30 07:45:00 (CDT)

In order to ameliorate not only the overcrowding being experienced on the College Loop Line but to also maximize the usage of available carrying capacity on the South College Line, Tiger Transit has instructed our vendor to have each in service bus assigned to the South College Line also provide service for the Beacon transit stop currently serviced by the College Loop Line. This additional service is being provided inbound to campus only and as a reminder, the South College Line services the Mell St. Transit Hub on campus not the Student Center Hub on Heisman Drive. Be advised, the outbound service from campus to The Beacon transit stop is only provided by the College Loop Line. This attempt to alleviate some of the overcrowding on the College Loop Line is being conducted on a trial basis during the 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM time period. Should future reviews of the line data show that this additional service provided by the South College Line for the Beacon transit stop is not warranted, the resources will be shifted to where they are required the most.
